After the birth of my first baby, I realized how little I actually prepared for the postpartum season and taking care of a newborn baby of my own. I had spent the majority of my pregnancy learning about birth and how to prepare for labor, without really thinking about what would come afterwards.


So, when I was pregnant with my second, I really took the time to consider what my family and I would need to thrive in these six weeks post-birth and create a plan. It was such a successful experience that I documented everything I did in preparing and turned it into a course (through Heart at Home) for new and expecting mothers.
